Stanzel Aircraft Museum - Stanzel Family Foundation

Victor and Joe Stanzel

In 1958, Victor and Joe put aside gas powered model kits for a new venture into ready-to-fly airplane toys for children six years and above.  They experienced great satisfaction and delight flying their airplane toys for school children on tour through their factory or anybody who wanted to see them fly.

Control Line

Victor and Joe designed and built fuel powered control line  model airplanes and  control  line  systems.  These patented control systems were highly  engineered  for  successful control  line  flying.   Model  kits for numerous airplanes  designed by  them  were sold to model  builders  who wanted  to build and fly their own model aircraft.
