FLYING MIGHT NOT BE ALL PLAIN SAILING, BUT THE FUN
OF IT IS WORTH THE PRICE.

Victor, eight years older than Joe, took the lead in the early stages of solid model design and marketing, but Joe was soon drawn in to execute his brother's vision.

Beyond their technical acumen and merchandising savvy, Victor and Joe's greatest achievement was probably how they brought the wonder and joy of flight to thousands of children across the nation at a time when the country was caught in the fever of the burgeoning aviation industry. Who shall ever know how many air minded youngsters chose aviation as a career due to the early influence of the Stanzel Brothers.

Mono-LineMono-Line elevator control was  introduced to  the modeling world by Victor and Joe Stanzel at  the Chicago hobby model trade show  in 1950.   The mono-line patented control system resulted  in faster flying speed and enabled the flyer to fly  his aircraft in windy conditions.
